All classes with Ariana can be given in English, Spanish, or Spanglish
Private Intro to Wheel Throwing Workshops
Want to learn how to make pottery on a wheel? Studio Kusi offers private lessons to help you learn how to make something on your very first day!
Workshop size: 1-2 people
Age range: Adults or teenagers 13+
Cost: $170/class (1-2 people)
Scholarships available to people who make less than 50k
Location: Garage studio in Mt. Pleasant, DC
What is included:
- Clay & tools
- Live demonstration and feedback
- After the class, I will finish one piece per person (Process: trim -> fire -> wax bottom -> glaze -> fire again)
- Your work will be ready for pickup in 3-8 weeks
Decorating your own pieces: If you want to decorate your own pieces, you can pay to join a glaze day (scroll down for more information)
Intro to hand building/Clay parties
Want to learn how to make pottery with your friends, family or colleagues? Studio Kusi offers customized workshops and clay parties!
Workshop size: 1-15 people
Age range: Adults and/or kids ages 3+
Cost: “Pay what you can” range depends on size of workshop
– 2 people: $85-$150/person
– 3-4 people: $65-$150/person
– 5-15 people: $55-$150/person
Scholarships available to people who make less than 50k
What we can make:
- Tea light holders, coasters, mini bowls, jewelry, plates, patter, mugs, charcuterie boards, wall art.
- Tell me what you want to make and I’ll let you know if it’s possible

Glaze days
Are you a previous student who wants to decorate your own piece? Come to pottery decorating party and create in community <3
Age range: Adults 18+
When: These events are hosted 1-2 times a month. The next one will be held on Wednesday, April 30rd at 6:30pm.
Cost:
– Pay what you can $25 – $125 via Venmo to @Ariana-Paredes-Vincent
Location: Mt. Pleasant, DC (I will share address once you book)

- Demo of how to glaze pottery
- Art supplies & tools
- After the class, I will fire your piece
- Your work will be ready for pickup in 1-8 weeks
